BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Lady Jackets drop a close game 2-0, while the Jackets win their second in a row 1-0 over Louisiana College

The Lady Jackets got into an early hole in the first half falling 2-0 to Louisiana College. Despite taking 12 shots in the second half the Lady Jackets never could get a goal in the net. Sirena Staedtler (Marble Falls) had a game high six shots for the Lady Jackets.

The Jackets scored late in the first half, and was able to keep Louisiana College from scoring winning 1-0. It is the second win in a row for the Jackets. Fr. GK Malcolm Framjee (Conroe) was credited with the shutout. The Jackets defense held the Wildcats to only eight total shots.

The Lady Jackets and Jackets wrap up the inaugural season next week in Abilene. Friday's games are at 1 p.m and 3 p.m against Hardin-Simmons University on October 27th . Saturday's games are at McMurry University again at 1 p.m and 3 p.m on October 28th.
