ABILENE, Texas - The HPU Yellow Jackets drop game one of the double header 9-1 but take game two 2-1 over the Indians of McMurry University at Driggers Field on Saturday.

Game one start out all McMurry as they scored eight runs in the first three innings. Howard Payne got their only run in the top of the fourth on Doug Wren's single to center scoring Kasey Black.

Colby Rowley was tabbed with the loss, while McMurry's Carrizales was given the win.

Game two come down to a pitchers dual as neither pitcher gave up any multi-run innings. HPU scored one run in the first and second innnings to take the early 2-0 lead.

McMurry got their only run in the fourth as HPU's Justin Davies picked up the complete game win 2-1. McMurry's Erickson got the loss.
