BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne volleyball team continues their winning ways with a 3-0 (30-24, 30-20, 30-22) victory over the Lady Indians of McMurry University on Tuesday.

The Lady Jackets jumped out to early leads in all three games in the match. In game three the Lady Indians did take the lead for a short time, but HPU soon took it back .

Sr. MB Destiny Barry (Burnet) led HPU in kills with 11. Sr. OH Sandra Fish (Burnet) led the team in Digs with 14 and week 3 ASC Setter of the Week, Patricia Brown (Conroe), had 32 assist.

McM's Tibbets led the Lady Indians with 7 kills and 16 digs.

The Lady Jackets will play again on Friday in Waxahachie against Southwestern Assemblies of God University, game time is at 7:00 p.m..
