The HPU women allowed 2 goals in the first 8 minutes of the match and got themselves in an early hole.

The Lady Jackets scored the final goal of the match when Nelly Ruiz found the back of the net in the 78th minute of the match.

HPU fell to 0-4-0 and 0-3-0 in ASC play, while TLU improved to 2-3-1 and 1-3-1 in the ASC.

HPU's Nicole Pena recorded 9 saves in the match and played all 90 minutes.

In the men's game, the HPU Yellow Jackets played solid in the first half with a 0-0 scoreless tie.

Schreiner scored their first goal 13 minutes into the second and added another just 6 minutes later.

The match ended in a 3-0 Schreiner victory. HPU fell to 1-5-0 and 0-3 in ASC play while Schreiner improved to 2-3-1 and 1-2-1 in ASC.

Malcolm Framjee played all 90 minutes in goal for HPU recording 7 saves.

The HPU women will be in action on Monday at home against Northwood University at Citizens National Bank Field and both will play again after that on Friday at home versus visiting East Texas Baptist University.
