Jackets Lose Close One To UT-Dallas

RICHARDSON, Texas - The Howard Payne Yellow Jackets fell to the University of Texas - Dallas 0-1 in American Southwest Conference action Saturday afternoon.

UT-Dallas outshot Howard Payne 20 to 7 in the game, 7 to 4 in shots on goal.

Howard Payne battled tough but gave up a goal in the 87th minute to fall 0-1.

Francisco Medina played all 90 minutes in goal for the Jackets recording 5 saves.

Howard Payne falls to 4-4-2 overall, 3-4-1 in ASC play, while UT-Dallas improves to 7-3-2overall, 5-0-2 in ASC action.

The Jackets play next against Huston-Tillotson University on Tuesday at Citizens National Bank Field.
