Ben Bishop Dishes Out Three Assists Against Louisiana College

BROWNWOOD, Texas – The Yellow Jacket's Ben Bishop led his team to a 6-1 victory over Louisiana College with three goal assists at Citizens National Bank field. 

Howard Payne outshot Louisiana College 18-9. The Jacket's six goals were scored by five different players. 

Malcolm Wentworth, Michael Hatcher, Brice Reusinkand Ramses NaJeebe all score a goal in the first period. Bishop was the assist for three out of the four goals. 

Wentworth scores his second goal fourteen minutes into the second period with the help of Chris Martinez. Barret Broussard follows up with Louisiana College's only goal. Brent Bynum gets in the action scoring the Jackets sixth and final goal, NaJeebe was credited with the assist. 

Howard Payne improves to 5-4-3 overall and 4-4-1 in ASC play while Louisiana College falls to 1-12-0 overall and 1-6-0 in ASC play. 

The Jackets will play their next game at home against Mississippi College at 3:00 pm.
