BROWNWOOD, Texas –The Lady Jacket of Howard Payne dropped a three set match to Texas Lutheran University 0-3 (19-25,20-25,24-26) in the Brownwood Coliseum Tuesday evening. 

Howard Payne who took Texas Lutheran to five games in Seguin earlier this season play the Lady Bulldogs tough but could not secure a set in the match. 

The Lady Jackets were led by Sarah Kocurek with 8 kills with Megan Pick added 7 kills. Amy Crouch and Patricia Brown had 14 and 10 assists respectively. Tamika Heline led the Lady Jackets with 17 digs. 

TLU's Jamie Lassiter led with 9 kills and no errors, while Jessica Stetler added 10 kills. Amanda Curry and Sarah Skains had 17 assists each. 

The Lady Jackets fall to 7-6 overall and 1-4 in ASC action while Texas Lutheran improves to 8-2 overall and 5-0 in ASC play. 

Howard Payne will play at home on Thursday in non-conference action against Paul Quinn College at 6:00 pm.
