Volleyball Goes 3-1 At UT-Tyler Tournament

Bryant helps lead the Lady Jackets to one of their best starts in recent history

TYLER, Texas - On the last day of the University of Texas - Tyler volleyball tournament the Howard Payne Lady Jackets go 1-1 with a win over Bacone College and a loss to Rhodes College.

Howard Payne defeated Bacone 3-1 (25-17,19-25,25-15,25-11) in the first game of the day.

In the final match of the day, both Howard Payne and Rhodes were 3-0 in the tournament. Rhodes held strong and defeated HPU 3-0 (18-25,18-23,23-25). Sydney Bryant was anmed to the All-Tournament Team for her performance this weekend.

The Lady Jackets will have their home opener this Tuesday in the Brownwood Coliseum at 7:00 versus Texas College.
