SEGUIN, Texas - The Howard Payne University women's volleyball posted a 1-3 loss (25-21, 14-25,19-25, 21-21) to Texas Lutheran University Saturday afternoon in American Southwest Conference action.

The Lady Jackets took game one 25-21 but Texas Lutheran finished the match by taking the next three 14-25,19-25, and 21-25.

Tamika Heline finshed with a match high 17 kills. She also had a team high 21 digs. Sarah Bishop added 11 kills. Jessica Guerra had 42 assists.

Vanecia Spencer had 13 kills for Texas Lutheran followed by Marcia Sagebiel and Octavia Golden with 12 each.

Howard Payne now stands at 8-15 overall and 4-10 in ASC play. TLU is now 12-13 overall and 8-5 in conference.

The Lady Jackets will play next in Abilene versus Hardin-Simmons University on October 18th.
