BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne soccer team fell 3-0 to the University of Texas - Dallas in conference action Friday afternoon at Citizens National Bank Field.

The Jackets were outshot in the match 15-7 by UT-Dallas. The Comets also had seven corner kicks to HPU's ftwo.

UTDallas scored goals in the 23rd and 37th minutes to gain a 2-0 halftime advantage. They would add another in the 55th minute to bring the score to its final 3-0.

Ryan Young received the loss for the Jackets playing all 90 minutes in goal and recording three saves.

Howard Payne is now 2-2-1 overall and 0-1 in conference. UT-Dallas stands at 2-3-0 overall and 1-0 in ASC play. HPU will host the University of the Ozarks on Saturday starting at 4:00 pm.
