Box Score BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne men's soccer team dropped a conference matchup with Mississippi College 7-0 Friday afternoon at Citizens National Bank Field.

The Yellow Jackets were outshot 36-10 in the match with only three shots on goal. Alejandro Guerrero, Shay Pate and Eric Young each would record shots on goal.

Howard Payne's Ryan Young played all 90 minutes in goal recording 13 saves. Kevin Ruiz would also get off three shots in the match.

Mississppi College set a new American Southwest Conference record for the fastest three goals scored by a team (1:32) with their goals at the 30:16, 31:18 and 31:48 marks. The previous record was 2:09 set back on 1998 by LeTourneau University.

Howard Payne now stands at 1-12-0 overall and Mississippi College is 7-3-1 overall. The Jackets will play Louisiana College on Saturday at 3:00 pm.
