2013- He started 11-13 games for the Jackets this season. He recorded a total of 957 minutes played. Ruiz had one goal against Schreiner with one assist against Pacific. He recorded a season total of 33 shots and 14 on goal.

2012: Kevin played in a total of 17 games and started four of them for a total of 570 minutes scoring four goals on the season with a total of 13 shots on goal.

HS/College: Kevin is a 2010 graduate of Poteet High School in Mesquite, Texas where he lettered in soccer. As a member of the Pirates soccer team, he helped lead them to capture the 2010 District Championship, the Regional Tournament title and a 4A State Runner-up finish. Prior to arriving at HPU, he attended Ranger College in Ranger, Texas. He played one season in 2010-2011 for the Ranger soccer team. 

Personal: Kevin is from Mesquite, Texas. He is the son of Ana B. Ruiz and Efrain V. Ruiz and has a younger sister.  He is an ambitious Exercise and Sports Science major and Spanish minor who dreams of becoming a physical therapist and being successful in life.
