BROWNWOOD, Texas - Howard Payne volleyball drops conference match against East Texas Baptist 3-1 (25-14,25-16,17-25,25-8) Saturday morning in the Brownwood Coliseum.
 
The Lady Jackets started off the match sluggish and ETBU would take control and the first set 25-14. ETBU would carry the momentum into the second taking it 25-16. HPU would get aggressive in the third taking a five point lead and eventually the set 25-17. In the fourth ETBU would take full control over the final set taking it 25-8.
 
Micah Cisneroz would lead the Lady Jackets with 11 kills on 28 attempts. Allison Eaton recorded 19 assists and Briana Williams had 14 digs.
ETBU's Mallory Sanders had 14 kills on 43 attempts with 9 digs and Kayla Taylor had 23 assists.
 
Howard Payne is now 1-19 overall and 0-12 in ASC action. ETBU is now 12-8 overall and 10-1 in ASC play. The Lady Jacket will play Tuesday, October 21st against Concordia University in the Brownwood Coliseum.
