BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne volleyball team lost in straight sets 3-0 (25-10, 25-12, 25-15) to Concordia University Texas Tuesday night in conference action at the Brownwood Coliseum.

The Lady Jackets started off the match slow with Concordia taking a quick lead and the set 25-10. In the second set, Concordia took control early and gained the set 25-12. In the third set, Howard Payne showed some improvement but Concordia would take the set 25-15.

Tolli Wylie had a total of 5 kills on 9 attempts. Ariana Rehm had a total of 4 kills and led the Lady Jackets with 12 digs. Allison Eaton had 10 assists for the night.

Concordia's Katie Baker finished with 11 kills followed by Jordan Redmond with 10 kills for the match. Zoe Allen had match high 29 assists.

The Lady Jackets are now 1-21 overall and 0-14 in ASC play. Concordia is now 11-11 overall and 6-6 in ASC action. Howard Payne will play next on October the 24th,against Hardin-Simmons University at 2:00 pm. It will be the Pink Out game for the Lady Jackets and the HPU senior players will be honored at the match.
