RICHARDSON, Texas - The Howard Payne men's soccer team gave up three second period goals to fall 3-0 to the University of Texas at Dallas Thursday evening in conference play.
The Yellow Jackets were outshot by Comets 31-4 overall and 9-1 in shots on goal.
UT-Dallas scored their first goal just :25 seconds into the start of the second period. They would later get goals in the 65th and 77th minutes,
Enosh Griffin recorded two shots for the Jackets with 
Jacob Moore and 
Shay Pate adding one each.
Brice Gardner got the loss for the Jackets recording five saves and allowing three goals.
Howard Payne is now,2-9-1 overall and 1-6-1 ASC action. UT-Dallas stands at,10-3-2 overall and 5-1 ASC play. The Jackets will play next on Saturday in Clarksville, AR versus the University of the Ozarks at 3:00 pm.
