BROWNWOOD, Texas - Howard Payne's Lynsie Anderson scored her second goal in two games this time a golden goal winner over conference opponent East Texas Baptist Friday afternoon at Citizens National Bank Field.

After the Lady Jackets dominated the shot count in regulation 31-10 overall, HPU's Lynsie Anderson would take a pass from Taylor Bicknell at the top of the box and net the golden goal in the 96th minute.,

Kelsie Piland got shutout win in goal for Howard Payne recording eight saves. It is Piland's sixth shutout win of the season.

Courtney Turner led HPU with six total shots, one on goal. Taylor Bicknell had four shots all on goal and the game winning assist. Elliott Gray added three shots, one on goal.

Howard Payne is now,8-7-1 overall and 3-4-1 in ASC play. East Texas Baptist stands at 6-6-2 overall and 2-4-2 in conference. The Lady Jackets will play next on Saturday versus Louisiana College at 1:00 pm to finish out the regular season.,
