BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne Lady Jacket soccer team posted their third consecutive shutout Saturday afternoon
3-0 over visiting McMurry University at Citizens National Bank Field.
Howard Payne dominated McMurry in shots 24-7 overall and 17-5 in shots on goal. The Lady Jackets also took five corner kicks while McMurry had none.
Priscilla Jamaica got Howard Payne on the board in the 22nd minute on a shot from top of box, assist by
Brittany Davis.
Courtney Turner would net her first of two goals in the game just 3:11 into the second period from the top of the box.

Alex Bernal assist.
Taylor Bicknell had four shots on goal with Davis adding three of her own.
Kelsie Piland recorded her fifth shutout of the year in the win recording three saves in 56 minutes.
Shelby Spaulding played the last 34 minutes in goal lodding one save.
Howard Payne is now 5-4 overall and McMurry stands at 5-3 on the year. The Lady Jakcets will play next on October 10th in Austin, Texas versus Concordia University Texas starting at 5:00 pm.
