BROWNWOOD, Texas – The Howard Payne men's soccer team was outshot 14-7 in a 4-0 conference loss to the University of Texas at Dallas Saturday afternoon at Citizens National Bank Field.
Howard Payne had just seven total shots, four on goal, to 14 total and 13 on goal for Texas-Dallas.

Allan Chehadi. The Jacket defense buckled down to keep the score 1-0 at the break.

Allan Chehadi recorded six saves in just over 75 minutes of action.
William Drury saw the remaining time in goal gaining one save.
Texas-Dallas scored goals in the 52nd, 60th and 71st minutes of the match to post the 4-0 final score.
Alex Sanchez had two shots on goal for Howard Payne with
Daniel Torres and
Shay Pate following with one each.
Joseph Weber recorded the win for Texas-Dallas. Danny Meyer and Daaron McFarling each had three shots on goal. Meyer scored the first two goals on the match.
Howard Payne is now 2-6-1 overall and 0-4 in American Southwest Conference action. Texas-Dallas stands at 11-1-1 overall and 4-0 in league play. The Yellow Jackets will play next on October 15th at home versus LeTourneau University at 3:00 pm. HPU defeated LeTourneau 3-2 (2OT) earlier this season.
