TYLER, Texas - The Howard Payne women's soccer team fell 5-0 to seventh ranked University of Texas at Tyler Thursday evening in conference action.
Howard Payne was outshot 42-1 and only had one corner kick compared to 11 for Texas-Tyler.
Rachel Crane had a shot on goal for the Lady Jackets.
Kelsie Piland recorded the loss in goal for Howard Payne with eight saves and five goals allowed in 68 minutes.
Nicole Goodwin played in goal the remaining 22 minutes and had four saves.
Howard Payne is now 3-7-2 overall and 2-5-2 in American Southwest Conference play. Texas-Tyler is now 13-0-1 overall and 7-0-0 in league action. Howard Payne will play next at the University of the Ozarks on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
