BROWNWOOD, Texas – The Lady Jacket soccer team tied 1-1 after going into double overtime against McMurry University on Saturday afternoon.
McMurry got on the board first after Holiday Williams scored in the 29th minute off an unassisted goal.
Howard Payne got on the board in the second half after
Rachel Crane netted her first goal of the season off a
Kaitlyn Harrison assist in the 50th minute.
Paighton McNeely finished the game with three shots, all shots being on goal.
Vanessa Albert finished with three shots and two on goal.

Kaitlyn Harrison each had two shots.
For McMurry, Holiday Williams finished with six total shots, four on goal. Cristen Lumbreras had four shots with two on goal.
Howard Payne recorded 18 total shots with 12 of those shots being on goal. McMurry had 15 shots with 10 on goal.
Kelsie Piland finished the game with 9 saves and now holds a 2-5-1 overall record.
Howard Payne is now 2-5-1 on the season with a conference record of 1-3-1. McMurry sits at 2-5-2 overall. Howard Payne will be back on the pitch on Thursday, October 8th as they travel to Alpine, Texas to take on Sul Ross State University.
