GEORGETOWN, Texas - The Howard Payne women's soccer team recorded its second consecutive loss in a 4-0 decision to Southwestern University Saturday afternoon on the road.

Howard Payne was held to just five total shot, four on goal. while Southwestern took 14 total, nine on goal.

Southwestern got three of their four goals in the first period, coming in the 14th, 26th and 60th minutes. They added their fourth in the 60th minute of the match.

Four different Lady Jackets took shots on goal. Nicole Goodwin recorded the loss in goal for HPU recording five saves in 90 minutes of action.

Howard Payne is now 1-2-0 overall and Southwestern gains their first victory of the year with the win and are now 1-3-1 overall. The Lady Jackets will play next on September 19th in Brownwood versus the University of Texas at Dallas starting at 2:00 pm.
