MARSHALL, Texas - Nicole Goodwin records a career high 15 saves for Howard Payne University in a 0-0 double overtime tie with conference opponent East Texas Baptist University Friday evening.

Playing all 110 minutes in goal for Howard Payne, Nicole Goodwin faced 22 total shots and recorded a career high 15 saves to give the Lady Jackets their first tie of the season. It was Goodwin's third shutout and her second complete match shutout of a team this season.

ETBU held the advantage in corner kicks 11-6 and outshot HPU 22-4 in the match. Rachel Crane had three shots, two on goal for the Lady Jackets. Darbi Frazier was the only other HPU player to record a shot.

Howard Payne is now 3-8-1 overall and 1-5-1 in American Southwest Conference play. ETBU stands at 5-3-4 overall and 3-2-2 in league action. The Lady Jackets will play at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas on Saturday at 5:00 pm.
