BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne University women's tennis team fell 8-1 to Texas Lutheran University Saturday afternoon at the Nabers Tennis Center.

Brittony Walker fell 8-4 in number one doubles. In number two doubles,
Breanna Hunt and
Erin McCleer lost 8-6. Then,
Devin Mendelson and
Callie Molloy fell 8-5 in number three doubles.
Brittony Walker picked up the only win for Howard Payne in number two singles defeating TLU's Brooke Taylor 6-3, 6-1.
Howard Payne is now 4-5 on the year and Texas Lutheran stands at 6-6 on the year. The Lady Jackets will play next on March 25th versus the University of Texas at Dallas in Brownwood at 1:00 pm.
