SHREVEPORT, Louisiana - The Howard Payne University men's soccer team dropped its second consecutive match at Centenary College 2-0 Saturday evening.
It was a very heated match with seven yellow cards and one red card given out.Â
Centenary took five more total shots (15-10) and nine more on goal (11-2) than Howard Payne. Centenary would get its goals in the 34th and 63rd minutes of the match.

Anthony Chavez with two shots each.
Brandon McGibney recorded the loss for Howard Payne playing all 90 minutes and posting eight saves.
Howard Payne is now 0-2 and Centenary stands at 2-0 overall. The Jackets will play next on September 13th at home versus Schreiner University.
