ABILENE, Texas - The Howard Payne University volleyball team lost its final match of the American Southwest Conference crossover 3-1 to East Texas Baptist University Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Jackets narrowly dropped the first two sets 25-20 and 25-21 before being down two (22-20) and rallying to take set  three 26-24. Howard Payne would fall in the forth set 25-21.

Zhartezia Bradley led all with 17 kills along with four blocks. Cheyanne Lovelady had four service aces with her match high 40 assists. Jordan Livingston finished with a match high 35 digs,

The Lady Jackets are now 7-14 overall and 5-7 ASC action. Howard Payne will be back at home on Tuesday, Oct. 17th at 7:00 pm versus McMurry University.
