RICHARDSON, Texas - The Howard Payne University women's tennis team fell 7-2 to the University of Texas at Dallas Friday afternoon.

Dropping the number one and two doubles points 8-3 and 8-1, the Howard Payne number three doubles team of Breanna Hunt and Erin McCleer defeated Michaela Gulasy and Justine Borchard of UT Dallas 8-1.

Callie Molloy was successful in number three singles play for the Lady Jackets defeating Justine Borchard in straight sets 6-2, 6-1.

Chesney Goza fell in three sets in number four singles action 0-6, 6-1, 6-4 to Elizabeth Labra of UT Dallas.

Howard Payne is now 4-12 overall and 1-4 in conference action. The Lady Jackets will finish out the regular season on April 22nd versus Sul Ross State University at 10:00 am. Being played at HPU's Nabers Tennis Center a spot in the American Southwest Conference playoff spot will be on the line.
