Box Score BROWNWOOD, Texas - Howard Payne University's Daniel Lemus scored the game winning goal with just 1:05 remaining in regulation to give the Yellow Jackets the 3-2 victory over Texas Wesleyan University Thursday afternoon at Citizens National Bank Field.

Dylan Person would receive the assist on the game winner.
Texas Wesleyan struck first scoring in the 41st minute. But that did not last long as the Jackets tied the match just under three minutes later.
Tracer Moore would connect with
Michael Westerman in the 43rd minute.
After TWU gained a 2-1 lead in the 51st minute, Howard Payne would again tie the match this time coming from a
Dylan Person goal on a Collin Sayers assist in the 79th minute.
It was Daniel Lemus who played the hero scoring with nearly a minute remaining for the 3-2 Jacket victory.
Howard Payne outshot Texas Wesleyan 17-8 overall and 8-5 in shot on goal.Â
