BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne University men's tennis team fell 9-0 to NCAA D-II Dallas Baptist University Saturday afternoon at the Nabers Tennis Center.

The Yellow Jackets started the day dropping all three doubles matches. HPU's Gabe Benitez and Benjamin Blanchard played the most competitive doubles match for HPU falling 8-2 in number one doubles action.

The Howard Payne number two and three doubles teams both fell 8-0.

Howard Payne would lose all singles matchups in straight sets to round out the 9-0 Dallas Baptist final.

Howard Payne is now 0-8 on the year and Dallas Baptist stands at 5-0 overall. The Yellow Jackets will play next on at Louisiana College in Pineville, LA on March 2nd and at LeTourneau University in Longview, TX on March 3rd.
