BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne University men's tennis team fell 9-0 in a non-conference match with Austin College Friday evening at Brownwood High School.

The Yellow Jackets most competitive match of the day was the number one doubles team of Gabe Benitez and Benjamin Blanchard falling 8-6 to Calum Robe and Erik Meendseb of Austin College.

After losing the number two doubles 8-1 and number three doubles 8-2, Howard Payne would drop all the singles points in straight sets/

Howard Payne is now 0-6 overall and Austin College stands at 1-1 on the year. The Jackets will play next on Feb. 10th in Austin, Texas versus the University of the Ozarks at 10:00 am.
