Box Score ARLINGTON, Texas - The Howard Payne University women's tennis team fell 7-2 to Texas Wesleyan University Friday evening at the Arlington Tennis Center.

Chesney Goza and Erin McCleer each won their singles matches in three sets giving the Lady Jacket their only two points of the match.

In number one singles, Goza defeated Emily Rodriguez 0-6, 7-5, 10-8 and McCleer defeated Sydney Rodriguez 1-6, 6-1, 10-4 in number two singles.

All three doubles matches were highly competitive with Howard Payne falling 8-4, 8-6, and 8-6.

Howard Payne is now 3-8 overall and Texas Wesleyan stands at 4-3 on the year. The Lady Jackets will play next on Thursday, March 22nd versus Southwestern University at 4:30 pm.
