BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne University women's soccer team lost its fight with the University of Texas at Tyler Patriots 3-0 in a home match played Thursday afternoon at Citizens National Bank Field.
The match started slow with the first shot for either team coming seven minutes into the game. The Lady Jackets were able to hold off the Patriots until the 32-minute mark, when the Patriots shot their first goal. Texas-Tyler added another score in the 43rd minute to make it 2-0 at the end of the first half.Â
UT Tyler came out of the break scoring their third and final goal in the 46-minute mark, with a shot crossed in front of the goal.Â

Howard Payne is now 0-4-0, while UT Tyler stand 4-0 overall. The Lady Jackets will play ar home this Saturday at 2:00 P.M. Saturday against the University of the Ozarks at Citizens National Bank Field.Â
