Kerrville, Texas - The Howard Payne Volleyball Club dropped a non-conference match to the Mountaineers of Schriner in straight sets on Saturday night.

Schriner took set one 25-16. set two 25-11 and while it came down to the wire, set three also at 25-23. 

Mya Ross led the Lady Jackets in kills with 8. Ciara Chappel added 3 blocks while Kennedy Sam posted 16 assists. Kylee Shirely continues to add to her dig total on the year with 21 in this contest.

The Lady Jackets fall to 2-19 on the season and stay 0-9 in ASC play. They will be on the road next weekend to take on LeTourneau and UT-Dallas in Austin. The matches will be at 7:00 pm on Friday and 2:00 pm on Saturday.
