Belton, Texas - The Howard Payne Volleyball Club dropped an ASC match to the undefeated Crusaders of Mary-Hardin Baylor in straight sets. 

The first set was 25-15 in favor of the Crusaders. In set two, Howard Payne made quite the effort falling 25-21. The third set was all Cru as it ended 25-8.

The Lady Jackets were led in kills by Mya Ross with 8. Daisy Flores added 5 aces, the most by a Lady Jacket since 2017. Logan Boyd led in assists with 8 and Kylee Shirley notched 14 digs.

The Lady Jackets fall to 2-17 and 0-8 in the American Southwest Conference. HPU will host Concordia at the Coliseum on Thursday, Oct. 10th, at 6:00 pm.
