Box Score ABILENE, Texas - The Howard Payne University women's basketball team was led by Chelsey Harris's 13 points in a 96-38 loss at Division I Abilene Christian University Tuesday evening

The Lady Jackets struggled from the field connecting on only 23.2% of their shots from the field and 13% from behind the arc. Abilene Christian shot 55.4% from the field and 42.9% from 3-point range in the game. 

After ACU led 57-18 at the half, the Lady Jackets were able to slow the Wildcat offense in the second half holding them to 14 and 25 points respectively in the third and fourth quarters.

The rebounding battle was closer with ACU leading 44-37, The Lady Jackets led in offensive boards 16-13 over the Wildcats.

Chelsey Harris added a team high six rebounds to her 13 points. Julissa Ibarra and Anastasia Willis each grabbed five rebounds and Ibarra added seven points to follow Harris.

The Lady Jackets will play next the Saturday, Nov. 23rd at home versus Southwestern University at 1:00 pm in the Brownwood Coliseum.
