SAN ANTONIO, Texas- The Howard Payne University men's soccer team fell 4-0 to Willamette University late this afternoon in a neutral site match at Trinity University on Saturday.
The Yellow Jackets were able to hold off the Bobcats till the 29th minute of the game, ending the first half 1-0.

Alexander Paz, and
Brandon Osborne each recorded shots for the HPU. Willamette scored three more goals in the second period leading to the 4-0 final.
HPU's
Matt Prall played all 90 minutes in goal for the Jackets recording six saves. The Yellow Jackets would be out shot 34-3 total overall and 11-0 in shots on goal in the match.
Howard Payne is now at 0-2 in the season, Willamette University is now 1-0-1 overall. The Yellow Jackets will have their home opener on Friday, Sept. 6th, a 4:30 pm game against Texas Lutheran University at Citizens National Bank Soccer Field. All admission to HPU home matches is free.
