BROWNWOOD, Texas- The Howard Payne University's men's soccer team fell 4-0 to Texas Lutheran University earlier this afternoon in the Yellow Jacket Home opener at Citizens National Bank Field.
HPU's defense were able to keep the bulldogs at bay ending the first half 0-0, though TLU was able to find the goal in the 52th.
Matt Prall was solid as goal keeper in the first half holding the Bulldogs scoreless.Â
The Yellow Jackets fell behind in shots 22-16, three Yellow Jackets recorded a shot on goal.

Howard Payne is now 0-3 overall in the season, while Texas Lutheran at 2-1 on the year. The Yellow Jackets will play at home Saturday Sep 7th, against Schreiner University at 4:30 pm at Citizens National Bank Field.Â
