Marshall, Texas – The Howard Payne Lady Jacket Volleyball Club fell in their finals match of the ASC Crossover Tournament against Louisiana College by a match score of 3-0.
In a rematch from the Hendrix College Invitational where HPU took the contest 3 matches to 2, the Wildcats struck back by sweeping in straight sets 25-23, 25-15, and 25-19.
Mya Ross led the Lady Jackets with 8 kills matched by Logan Boyd's 8 assists. Kylee Shirley also added 11 digs to finish off the day.
Howard Payne is now 2-13 on the season and will be back in the Coliseum on Tuesday night, October 1st, against the War Hawks of McMurry. First serve will be at 7:00 pm.
