Jackets Drop Conference Match To Hardin-Simmons

ABILENE, Texas - The Howard Payne University men's soccer team lost 3-0 to Hardin Simmons University Saturday night.

The Yellow Jackets battled through the first half only allowing one goal at the 28th minute.

Hardin-Simmons scored in the 61st and 62nd minute of the match making it a 3-0 loss for HPU. 

Zachary Moreno, Alexander Paz, Gael Cancino, and Obed Santos all recorded shots on goal for the Yellow Jackets. 

Goal keeper Eduardo Flores played all 90 minutes, allowed three goals, and made six saves.

The Howard Payne Yellow Jackets will face the East Texas Baptist University Tigers on Thursday, Oct. 21st in Brownwood, Texas at Citizens National Bank Soccer Field.
