ABILENE, Texas- The Howard Payne University volleyball team lost to McMurry University 3-0 for the second time this season at Kimbrell Arena Saturday afternoon. 

The Lady Jackets lost in three straight sets by scores of 25-12, 25-11, 25-15.

Mitsue Rodriguez led the Lady Jackets with seven kills, followed by Amaya Marshall and Rylee Spencer with three. Riley Brittain had nine assists, followed by Kaitlyn Elsten with five. Amaya Marshall, Delaney Etzler, Rylee Spencer had one block each.

The Lady Jackets fall to 3-16 on the season and 1-11 in American Southwest Conference action. The War Hawks improve to 7-9 overall and 5-6 in conference play.

Howard Payne will play Sul Ross State on Tuesday Oct. 19th in Alpine, Texas 5:00 PM.
