BROWNWOOD, Texas- The Howard Payne University's men's tennis team lost to East Texas Baptist University on Friday, falling 0-9.
 
In doubles action, Alexander Shelton and Ashton Stevens lost 4-8 in number two doubles. Dakota Anderson and Hunter Green lost 3-8 in number three doubles.
 
Dominic DeNardo put up a fight against Joseph Salinas in number one singles, falling 4-6, 1-6. Another close match was in number six singles with Garrett Bell making a comeback, falling short 1-6, 4-6.
 
The Yellow Jackets are now 0-10 on the season. The Jackets will play again Saturday, March 27^th at 10:00 am against Texas Lutheran University in Mason, Texas.
