LONGVIEW, TEXAS – The Howard Payne University's men's tennis team fell to LeTourneau University 0-9 on Friday and then to East Texas Baptist University 7-2 on Saturday.
 
LeTourneau Match

Dominic DeNardo and Dakota Anderson lost number two doubles in a close match 7-8(0-7) against Miles Grubbs and Jonah McGinty. Micah Hunter and Hunter Green lost 4-8 in number one doubles against Nathan Schmidt and Rodrigo Vazquez.
 
Dominic DeNardo lost in number three singles in a close match, 7-6(7-4), 2-6, 7-10 against Jeffrey Golladay. Ashton Stevens fell in number two singles 3-6, 4-6 to Gavin Meyer. Dakota Anderson fought in number six singles, falling 2-6, 6-7(3-7) to Camp Stevens.
 
ETBU Match
 
Dominic DeNardo and Dakota Anderson defeated Adam Morris and Christian Dubec in number two doubles 8-2.
 
Dakota Anderson won number six singles 6-2, 4-6(10-2) against Liam Wedge.
 
The Yellow Jackets are now 0-12 on the season. The Jackets will play next on March 27th at 11:00 a.m. versus Hardin-Simmons University in Brownwood, Texas.
