Lady Jackets Fall In Abilene

ABILENE, TX- The Howard Payne University women's soccer team lost to McMurry University 3-0 on Friday afternoon.
 
McMurry was able to get score the first goal of the game in the 12th, and the second in the 19th minute ending the first half 2-0.

Alexandria Barnett and Jillian Jackson each recorded one shot for the Lady Jackets.
 
HPU goalkeeper Delaney Castor played all 90 minutes recording 9 saves and allowing 3 goals.
 
The Lady Jackets are now 0-6 in the season and 0-5 in conference play. McMurry moves to 2-4 overall the and 2-2 in the conference.
 
The next match will be March 25th against Concordia University in Austin, Texas at 12:00 pm.
