AUSTIN, Texas - The Howard Payne University women's soccer team fell to Concordia University earlier today 2-0.
The lady jackets were able to hold off the Tornados up until the 65th minute of the match, giving Concordia a 1-0 lead. Concordia scored again in the 72nd minute.Â

Lindsey Schiller each recorded one shot on goal for the Lady Jackets.
HPU goalkeeper
Delaney Castor played all 90 minutes, recording 8 saves and only allowing 2 goals.

The Lady Jackets are now 0-7 on the season, and 0-6 in the conference. Concordia is now 1-5-1 on the season, and 1-5 in conference play.Â
The Lady Jackets next match will be Saturday March 27th at 1:00 p.m. against Concordia University in Brownwood, Texas at Citizens National Bank Field.Â
