BROWNWOOD, Tx – The Howard Payne University Men's soccer team fell to the Concordia University Tornadoes today 2-1.
Concordia started off strong by scoring the first goal in the 7th minute of the match, making it 1- 0.
After a cross by HPU, the Concordia defender headed the ball into the goal, tying up the match 1-1 going into the 2nd quarter.
With 19 seconds left in the match, Concordia scored to take the 2-1 lead and Howard Payne was unable to answer.

Eduardo Flores played all 90 minutes and recorded nines saves and allowed two goals.
The Howard Payne Yellow Jackets end their season 1-7 overall, and 1-6 in conference. Concordia moves up to 5-2 on the season, and 4-1 in conference.
