CLARKSVILLE, Arkansas- The Howard Payne University men's soccer team dropped the first conference game to the University of the Ozarks 4-0 on Thursday afternoon.

The Yellow Jackets fell behind early and were down 3-0 at the halfway mark.

Mikel Santamaria and Zach Moreno recorded shots on goal for HPU.

Josh Williams played keeper for all 90 minutes for Howard Payne. He allowed four goals and recorded five saves.

The Yellow Jackets are now 2-5-1 overall and 0-1 in the American Southwest Conference. They will play UT Dallas on Saturday Sept. 25th and 7:30 PM in Richardson, Texas.
