RICHARDSON, Texas- The Howard Payne University men's soccer team lost 4-0 to the University of Texas at Dallas Saturday evening.

UT Dallas got on the board in the seventh minute of the match. However, Howard Payne was able to them off the rest of the period, making the score 1-0 at halftime.

The Yellow Jackets could not stop the Comets in the second half, dropping the road conference match 4-0.

The Yellow Jackets took six total shots, five of those being on frame. Christopher Castellanos, Oscar De Santiago, Seth, Warren, and David Wright recorded shots on goal for HPU.

Josh Williams played goalkeeper for 66 minutes, allowed three goals, and recorded four saves. Andrew Hackney played 23 minutes, allowed one goal, and recorded two saves.

The Yellow Jackets fall to 2-6-1 on the season and 0-2 in conference play. They will play Belhaven University on October 2nd at 3:30 PM at Citizens National Bank Soccer Field in Brownwood, Texas.
