BROWNWOOD, Texas- The Howard Payne University volleyball team lost 3-0 to the University of Texas at Dallas on Saturday afternoon in the Brownwood Coliseum.
The Lady Jackets lost to the Comets in three straight sets by scores of 25-17, 25-17, and 25-12.
Abbie Knepper led HPU with six kills, followed by
Mya Ross with four.
Rylee Spencer had two blocks for the Lady Jackets. Riley Brittain had nine assists.
Allison Owen had nine kills for UTD, and Mikayla Cho had 21 assists.
The Lady Jackets fall to 2-9 on the season and 1-5 in conference play. They will take on Hardin-Simmons on Tuesday, Sept. 28th, in the Brownwood Coliseum.
