BELTON, Texas – Howard Payne University's Jaylan Ballou leads all scorers in a 94-59 Yellow Jackets loss to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Saturday afternoon in conference action.

UMHB used a 26-0 run midway through the first half to open up the game. The Yellow Jackets would not be able to recover shooting 32.9% from the field in the 94-59 UMHB final.

HPU's Jaylan Ballou led the Yellow Jackets with a game-high 16 points along with seven rebounds.

UMHB was led by Josiah Johnson with 15 points and Like Feely with 12 points.

Howard Payne is now 3-11 overall and 2-7 in American Southwest Conference action. UMHB stands at 12-1 overall and 7-1 in league play. The Jackets will be back in action on Thursday at home versus Hardin-Simmons University at 7:30 pm.
