Lady Jackets Fall To Comets

BROWNWOOD, Texas- The Howard Payne University Yellow Jackets drop to the UT Dallas Comets 2-0.
 
The Comets were able to get a goal in the first half, making the score 1-0 at halftime. Early in the second half the Comets scored their second and last goal, making the score 2-0. HPU's Emily Williamson was in goal for all 90 minutes with a total of three saves.
 
Howard Payne took a total of four shots on the game. Hannah Noel led in shot attempts with two total shots, with both on goal. The remaining shots were taken by Katie Burnside and Carrie Gerdes.
 
The Lady Jackets are now 5-4-1 on the season an 1-1 in conference play. The Lady Jackets are back in action Thursday, Oct. 6th at 5:00 pm. They will be in Austin, Texas versus Concordia University Texas!
