HOUSTON, Texas- The Howard Payne University Lady Jackets competed in a double header today versus Dallas Christian College and University of St. Thomas.
 
Game 1
The Lady Jackets won their first game of the day 3-0 versus Dallas Christian College by the scores of 25-22, 25-14, and 25-15.
 
HPU's Rylee Spencer led the team in kills with 16. Spencer also led in blocks alongside Abbie Knepper with two blocks each. Jaiden Albright and Cecilia Martine both had three aces on the game. Leading the Lady Jackets in assists, Riley Brittain had 25. Hannah Vega led with 17 digs.
 
Game 2
The Lady Jackets fell to University of St. Thomas 3-0. The sets ended by the scores of 25-9, 25-11, and 25-14.
 
Leading the Lady Jackets in kills was Carsyn Bilbrey with four, followed by Rylee Spencer with three. HPU's Kaitlyn Elsten led with seven assists, and Hannah Vega led with 13 digs.

The Lady Jackets are now 3-20 on the season, and 1-12 in conference. The Lady Jackets will compete against Concordia University in Austin, Texas. They will play on Tuesday, Oct. 25^th at 6:00 pm!
